This book is an excellent resource and indispensable for the CRNA student. My only complaint, which is pretty major in the modern age of tablets and computers, is that this text does not offer a digital companion when you pay for a hardcover version. This is pretty standard for graduate level texts at this point, so the publisher should really consider joining the modern era instead of only offering the kindle version for the full price of the text AGAIN if one wishes to have a digital copy.
Excellent textbook and my first go to. As a CRNA student I find Nagelhout comprehensive and detailed. The information is easy to understand and explains the WHY. This book is what you read first to understand the logical flow of the material with detail, then transition to read Miller if you'd like to get down in the weeds.The Author is a CRNA with a PhD in Pharmacology and the material is very easy to understand.I highly recommend and would buy again.
This is a book I got for school, but was also told it was one of the best study books for boards. I am in my first semester. So far I have not had to use it for class, but the information is excellent and the book came in good condition.
Great textbook. I am really impressed by the content in this text. Much better then previous editions!! I fully recommend this text to any nurse anesthesia student.
